For companies or organizations to obtain group health insurance for their members or employees, there are requirements that the business must meet. These requirement include but are not limited to, participation, % of contribution, number of employees, number of hours worked

While this can vary by carrier, the rule of thumb is a group is considered 2 or more. This is defined by eligible employee's. What is an eligible employee, a w2 or 1099 employees that works 30 or more hours per week for the business.
